WHO IS

When I’m not planning, photographing, or editing your wedding galleries, you’ll find me with my growing family. Our little boy, Rupert, is now 17 months old and full of energy, and we’re excitedly awaiting the arrival of his baby sister in April 2025.

Back in 2023, we welcomed Rupert during a whirlwind of a wedding season, moving house, and decorating, all in the same 13 days. It was the wildest time of my life, but we wouldn’t change a thing. Last year, we took our first family holiday abroad to Portugal, soaking up the sun and creating some unforgettable memories.
My partner Paris and I share a love for a cheeky Chinese takeaway (typically on my way home from a wedding) and exploring the UK on staycations. We’ve enjoyed little adventures to Scotland, Wales, and Cornwall, and we’re always on the lookout for new recommendations. Got a hidden gem in mind? Let me know.

When I’m not with my family or working on wedding galleries, you’ll find me in the garden. Last year, I built raised beds and grew an absurd number of tomatoes. I also discovered running as a new hobby. I might still be super slow, but I love the way it clears my head and keeps me moving. Coffee, documentaries, and a good book are also up there on my list of favourite ways to unwind.

That’s me in a nutshell.
A family-loving,
garden-obsessed,
coffee-drinking,
slow-running
wedding photographer who’s here to make your wedding day as fun and unique as you are.

Simply put, I’m a photographer
for the rule-breakers and
joy-makers, capturing bold and authentic weddings for couples who want a day as unique as they are.

WDDINGS?
If I’m being honest, weddings weren’t for me. When people used to ask if I wanted to photograph them, my answer was simple:
WHY

If you want the full story, I wrote a blog all about How CRT Came to Be.
"Weddings? Not for me. I’m not into the cheesy poses, bright white hotel rooms, awkward speeches, and cringey dance moves."
Then everything changed when a good friend had to rethink their wedding thanks to Covid. Their big, traditional plans turned into something much smaller, more personal, and way cooler. They gathered their closest friends and family, headed to the local registry office, and then just had fun.
After the ceremony, we went to their favourite spot in Kelham Island, Sheffield. We had the entire venue to ourselves for an hour. With drinks in hand and zero pressure, we created photos that were completely them. No stiff poses, no forced smiles, just real memories.
That was the moment I was hooked. Weddings could be fun, raw, and full of personality. I already had a commercial photography business, but alternative, unique weddings became my new obsession.

I’m not just your photographer. I’m your unofficial bridesman, hype man, and the one making sure everything runs smoothly while keeping the energy up.
I make friends with the bridal party, chat with your guests, and throw out banter like confetti. Need someone to carry bags, fix a dress, or shove a hair clip into place? I’m on it. I’ve lost count of how many brides I’ve fastened into their dresses while keeping everyone calm in the madness.
At sunset, I gather the bridesmaids and groomsmen for a moment that feels wild and unforgettable. Smoke bombs fill the air, champagne flies, and the golden light captures the raw energy of your day.

Weddings are wild, but that’s where I thrive. I’ll be there to capture every laugh, tear, and moment that tells the raw, unfiltered story of your day. It’s about those real, candid moments that make you look back and feel it all over again.
