How much do you charge?

Do you travel?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if your venue is more than 2.5 hours travel from S63, I charge a £300 travel fee to cover the cost of a hotel. If you're getting married abroad, I'll give you a bespoke quote.

What time do you arrive and when do you leave?

I try and spread the 10 hours coverage to make sure you get an element of morning preparation, as well as some of the party in the evening.

Question 4

We are awkward in front of the camera, can you make us more comfortable?

Most of my couples feel this way, we rely heavily on movement, connection and genuine moments, rather than traditional posing, to help you feel more comfortable.You don't have to stare at my camera, I'd rather you connect with your partner.Be silly, have fun and we'll get some great photos.

How many photos do we get?

Accepted Answer

You'll get all of the best photos fully edited in my style.On average, anywhere between 700 and 1,000. If there's a photo that's clear and in focus, I'll take the time to edit it and deliver for you. I won't just get rid of them to save time on editing.

Can we order prints or an album from you?

For prints, we offer in house printing up to size A3.We offer a selection of personalisable coffee table books from Folio albums, the full details of the albums are available on enquiry.

What’s the booking process like?

Fill in my contact form and I'll check my availability and get back to you within 24 hours.You'll receive a copy of my client guide, this has all of the information you'll need about me, as well as information on how to book a meeting.We will have a meeting, in person or over zoom, just to get to know each other. I'll send you an official quote.Pick your package, sign your contract and pay your deposit.Then you're all booked in!

Do we need a second photographer?

Short answer, no.However, if you have a bigger wedding, a second photographer can be really valuable.I can't be in two places at once, so having a second on board gives you a wider spread of the day from different perspectives. As well as a slightly larger final gallery.

Question 9

How long does it take to get our photos?

Accepted Answer

On average around 8 weeks, but it truly depends where we are in the season.I always try and deliver no later than 12 weeks.But you'll always receive sneak peeks within 72 hours.

Question 10

When do we get our sneak peeks?

Accepted Answer

You’ll get sneak peeks within 72 hours of your wedding. If I can get them to you the next day, I will, but it depends on travel and what else I’ve got on. Either way, you won’t be waiting long.

Do you work well with videographers and other suppliers?

I'm happy to work with other suppliers, please make sure to book fun documentary style folk, who want to capture the day as it unfolds.It's very hard for me to capture candid moments if they keep stopping the flow of the day to direct everyone.

What happens if you’re ill or there’s an emergency?

So there are two scenarios:Scenario 1: I'm aware in advance I can't attend (legs fell off) I reach out to my network of photographers, find you a suitable replacement to photograph the day on my behalf, I then edit all the photos and deliver as normal. Alternatively you can have a full refund. Scenario 2: I find out last minute that I can't attend (legs just fell off) I find someone ASAP and get them to the wedding to capture the day on my behalf. My goal is to never leave you without a photographer and I have a great connection of folk in the industry I can call on if needed.

Do you limit how many weddings you shoot each year?

Currently my capacity is 30 weddings per year, there's around a weeks worth of work for each wedding behind the scenes. So limiting myself to 30, means I can turn up fresh, full of energy and ready to capture your day without loosing all of my hair.

Question 14

Does it matter if you haven’t shot at our venue before?

Accepted Answer

No, absolutely not. 95% of venues I work at, it's the first time I'm working at them.I do my research in advance, get on google earth and get familiar with the place before the day.

Can you help with timelines and planning?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely, at any point after you have booked me, just give me a shout and I can answer any questions.I do send out a questionnaire 6 weeks before the wedding and help make a timeline of my own day from the information that you provide.
